Mo modified Co3O4 nanosheets array by a rapid quenching strategy for efficient oxygen evolution electrocatalysis

چکیده

The development of transition metal oxides (TMOs) as electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) has the potential to surpass performance noble-metal-based catalysts. In this work, a quenching rapidly strategy was used synthesize Mo-modified Co 3 O 4 nanosheet arrays advanced resulting Mo-Co electrodes showed superior activity and kinetics, with an overpotential only 341 mV drive current density 100 mA cm −2 Tafel slope 69.0 dec −1 . This improved is thought be due formation high-valence sites, which creates synergistic effect. ability regulate synthesis without causing obvious agglomeration nucleation growth during annealing makes method promising approach design other functional materials.
